This curious, energetic, and clever child loves diving into stories and playing with an array of different toys. Playing at the park is a favorite, especially when there are animals to be found. This little one enjoys seeing friends at local classes throughout the week.

Queen Anne Family Assistant Needed I Full Time
RATE: Up to$40, DOE
HOURS: Up to 38 hours a week, they are flexible, please share your availabilty on the application. Ideas of time could be 11-5pm, 2-8pm, or 8-4pm.

A past client of mine located in the charming Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle is in search of a nanny/family assistant for their two daughters, ages 6½ and 4½. Their oldest is a vibrant soul, brimming with passion, empathy, enthusiasm, energy, and a caring nature. Her younger sister is a creative individual characterized by her decisiveness, meticulous attention to detail, and artistic flair. The children love to be engaged. This could be with activities around the house such as drawing, coloring, crafts, Legos, pretend play, music, reading, or outside play with activities like bikes, scooters, running a mile together, picnics, parks, and walking around in the woods. In general, both children enjoy the combination of outdoor and indoor time. Their weekends are a mix of family time and kid-focused activities. They enjoy visiting the Ballard Farmers Market together, going out for ice cream, and occasionally taking a trip to Bainbridge Island to explore at a relaxed pace.

Since the children are in school most of the day (8:30 AM - 2:25 PM), the role focuses on maintaining an organized and smoothly running home during those hours, then transitioning to childcare in the afternoon. Beyond household responsibilities, the ideal candidate will actively support the children by driving them to scheduled activities, organizing outings, and coming up with fun, engaging ways to keep them active. Strong time management, the ability to anticipate the family’s needs, and the initiative to step in without constant direction will make for a great fit.
